Co-Simulation with LS-DYNA through FMI

In this webinar, we will explore the possibilities for co-simulation between LS-DYNA and other software using the Functional Mockup Interface (FMI). FMI is a tool independent standard for co-simulation between different software by exchanging data such as forces, velocities and sensor status. An example could be a car crash model in LS-DYNA, where another software controls when the airbag is fired. Another example could be a mechanical model of a rock drill in LS-DYNA coupled with an external model of the hydraulic unit of the rock drill. Since the FMI standard is tool independent, coupling is possible between LS-DYNA and all other software that support the standard.
