Parameter identification for GISSMO and DIEM damage models

GISSMO and DIEM are two very popular "add-on" damage models in LS-DYNA. By adding any of these models to your material it is possible to simulate stress state based ductile fracture for both solids and shell structures. However, the damage models require parameters that are determined from material testing which can be a challenging task. This webinar shows the basics on how to choose material tests and convert the experimental results into a damage model using LS-OPT.
