Thermal and thermo- mechanical simulations using LS-DYNA

LS-DYNA has many solvers, and the thermal solver is one of them. With this solver, it is possible to solve various thermal problems ranging from linear steady state to transient nonlinear. Further, when coupling the thermal and explicit or implicit mechanical solver, this allows for the user to solve thermo- mechanical problems including temperature-dependent materials and contacts.

This webinar will show the very basics of setting up and running the thermal solver for various applications. It also includes a walkthrough of the necessary keywords and how to run a coupled analysis.
