New LS-DYNA version R8.1 and R7.1.3

Recently, the new version LS-DYNA R8.1 was released which includes many new features and improvements. The version is particularly suitable for users of the implicit structural solver and the new coupled multiphysics modules. For our users from crash and occupant simulations, we still recommend the robust production version LS-DYNA R7.1.3 for everyday use

OASYS 13.1

The Oasys Suite version 13.1 is available for 64 bit architectures, on both Windows and Linux. Version 13.1 of the Oasys Suite includes updated versions of PRIMER , D3PLOT, T/HIS, REPORTER and SHELL and has been thoroughly tested through our QA procedures. An general overview of all new features in version 13.1 can be found here

LS-OPT V5.2.1

Please update Intended for everyday usage, the robust production version LS-OPT V5.2.1 is now available. It mainly contains bug fixes and was optimized towards an even better stability. Detailed release notes about the available new features in LS-OPT V5.2 as well as the download of the executable can be found here

DYNAmore Nordic Users' Conference, October 13-14

It is a pleasure to invite you to the Nordic LS-DYNA Users’ Conference 2016.

The conference will provide a great opportunity to share and discuss experiences, to obtain information on upcoming features in LS-DYNA and LS-OPT, and to learn more about new application areas.
The central part of the event will be the user presentations.

In this course an introduction to LS-PrePost is given including hands on exercises. The course is suitable for old and new users of LS-PrePost.

Introduction to LS-DYNA, Aug 30 - Sep 1
The introductory seminar gives a quick, comprehensive introduction to the application of LS-DYNA and is recommended for simulation engineers who want to use LS-DYNA as an FE code to simulate general nonlinear problems. Prior knowledge is not required.

Material Failure, Sep 13-14
This seminar will discuss issues related to the adjustment of material models considering the failure, which can sometimes be relatively complex. The seminar intends to look at the complete picture, reaching from the approach to test design to the actual creation of a material card using LS-DYNA, thus reflecting the entire verification and validation process.
