  • DYNAmore is involved in numerous research and development projects

DYNAmore GmbH is a medium-sized company for FEM engineering services. Due to the company's affinity to develop fundamentally-orientated methods in simulation technology, DYNAmore is often a contact partner for publicly-sponsored projects.

  • Launch new webpage

We continue the integration with the other companies in DYNAmore Group and today we launch a new webpage based on the same platform as the other companies in the group.

  • DYNAmore: New version LS-DYNA R7 available

DYNAmore GmbH announces the release of LS-DYNA R7, which contains many new features and improvements. The focus is drawn on three new solvers for compressible and incompressible fluids as well as for electromagnetism that can be coupled with existing solvers for structure and temperature.

  • Optimization of the rear middle seat

Escenda Engineering used LS-DYNA and LS-TaSC to reduce the mass of the rear middle seat by 12%.

  • Extrapolate stresses in solid elements in LS-PrePost v3.2

If setting NINTSLD=8 on *DATABASE_EXTENT_BINARY, LS-DYNA will write stresses at all integration points for solid elements to the d3plot file. When this option is set, LS-PrePost applies the stress values to the nodes from the closest integration point and after that, the average value from the contributions are computed and presented in the stress fringe plot.

  • Simulation of pneumatic & hydraulic drills and breakers

Pneumatic and hydraulic (rock) drills and breakers typically are equipped with a piston impacting the drill or steel that does the actual work. Design challenges of this type of equipment includes the high stress waves traveling through the drill/breaker body including piston and associated parts.

  • Luleå tekniska universitet chooses ANSA

Luleå tekniska universitet recently chose the Pre-Processor ANSA for modelling of Finite Elements in research applications and in the education of students in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Trace points in LS-PrePost

The Trace functionality in LS-PrePost will be extended to trace arbitrary points on the mesh, even on adaptive meshes in both 2D and 3D. It is already available in v4.1 beta.
