On the 7th and 8th of March we, Daniel Hilding and Mikael Schill, visited Luleå University and the Division of Mechanics of Solid Materials. We had together with the Division a half-day workshop on realistic simulation and LS-DYNA. The audience consisted of Researchers, Students and Local companies.

The Division has many researchers with a very long experience in advanced simulation and material modeling. We got an insight in how  LS-DYNA is used in reasearch projects involving mining applications, hot stamping, and modelling the phase transformation of metals.
